OG HER Crewneck: Equality

This special piece means so much to me, being it’s the FIRST piece of HER Collection merchandise. With the current state of our country, it was important to me to not only curate for women, but also for men who root and support women’s rights daily. You don’t have to be a female to support equality of the sexes…real men are feminists.

I met Luciano a few years ago at one of his club nights. He instantly recognized me and thanked me for coming. He praised me for being on the radio and shared how he looked up to people like me for doing what we do. That meet has to be one of the most humbling and genuine, to date. I met his family sometime later on and it all made sense…he was and would forever be a good man. Since then, from Phoenix to Las Vegas and back, Luciano continues to support my career and isn’t quiet about it either. Thank you, boo.

It’s funny how you meet people not knowing what your friendship will look like later on. I met Harvey via social media in Las Vegas. He told me he had heard me on the radio during his mini weekend Vegas getaways. (That was pretty cool, considering Vegas is such a transit city, which tourists really listen to the radio?) Some time shortly after, I relocated back to Phoenix from Vegas, and it wasn’t long before we realized we both lived there. One night we bumped into each other in Downtown Phoenix, unexpectedly, yet we had so much fun and it felt like we had known each other for years. Our friendship continues to grow organically and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thanks, Harvey.

Some people may not know that I’ve known Cassie for years, yet, it wasn’t until I relocated back to Phoenix, when I really began to understand her story. The minute I vocalized my plans of growing HC in Phoenix, she instantly messaged me and we jumped on a call together. I explained how my time in Vegas allowed me to put my ego aside and share my purpose of uniting and supporting women. She believed in my vision and before I knew it, she was studying my every move and assisting me whenever, wherever. People like that are hard to come by and I will forever be grateful. Thank you, babe.
